Mondays are really sucky, they herald the beginning of weeks and the end of a weekends. urgh...

this week is not good, i have a lot of work. beginning with let me see a 1500 word essay due on friday, 2 tutorials each of which now takes me ages to do, 2 competitions and choir prac. Man....

oh well, i asked for it i guess...

its getting really cold in leicester now, damn it fog is so thick u could cut it with a knife and weather is so cold i shoudl switch off my fridge and leave my food outside. It wasnt this cold last year man, but man this year its chilling.

saw two movies- the more exciting one to describe will be the scary movie emily rose. yah.. ok that one was pretty bad. hahaa... i can watch exorcist alone and not feel scared, but this one actually had my heart racing damn fast sia....piangz...there was this girl in the movie theatre, trying to be funny, the first of the scary scenes she was laughing like super loud trying to show off the fact she wasnt scared, by the end of it, she didnt even laugh once. if u believe in god and the devil, my advice is dun watch this show unless you are spiritually really strong man...

ok enough abt movie before i cant sleep...skipped lecture today because the lecturer makes me confused and doesnt make any sense...ok i know she tried her best but i seriously do not understand a damn thing she is saying, i just nod off to sleep in lecture...all i hear is her going this is a difficult concept, this is a difficult concept and after her explanation, shes right, it is a difficult concept, i guess maybe even if it was a simple concept, after the explanation it becomes a difficult concept... wah piangz...

hmm what else to write, oh yes suppose to be doing my essay and my work but i feel very very sian sia...its so insanely dull...so i thot i would write a bit...

I just read my friends blog and on it she had the song home by michael buble. The words are very touching and basically were a touchstone of emotion for anybody.

I am not a very happy person, in fact i am a cynic of the highest order.

I have always wondered why i am constantly fighting the world and why i never felt happy when others do, no matter what i tried.

After reading my friends blog, i realized the truth; its because i have no home...

A home is more than roof over your head. A home is where you feel safe, you feel welcome. It is your sanctuary. It is the one place in the world where you can retreat no matter how many bad things happen to you, to rest and to recover and to be happy. Loved for who you are by people who care.

I dont have this. I have tried very hard to find a place like this all my life but i have never ever found it.

People i know, most especially one in particular, would use me and then dump me in the sewer once they cant get anymore out of you. I believe that even if someone stays on, its to satiate their own guilt rather than to make sure you feel better. No one will care for you the moment it interrupts their life, they will only care if its convenient and in their interests.

I am sure people will say i am a pessimist or that i am just an asshole who deserves what i am getting..but then do i? I wonder how many people i have stood by in the past have actually come back and thanked me or actually stayed loyal to me, even when its not convenient for them. thats probably the true test of a friend, staying and sacrificing when things are hard for them too..

But hey very few have actually done me that favour, though some have and i am enternally grateful.

For all those who know my life and what i have seen, tell me honestly, do you blame me for the way i look at life? Have u tried to change the way i look at it by more than mere platitudes? are u actually there to show that my underlying assumption is wrong?or more scarily could no one bother cuz as long as their life is fine, who cares is someone else sinks?

Revenge of the Fleas

K anyway this is to continue with my revenge of the fleas story...

last time i left off, cat came into house, flea jump off cat, flea reproduce= multiple hungry fleas, fleas bite jon= itchy leg= swelling...

i was bitten to my horror not only by fleas, but by mites which my dear beloved now deceased friend hahaa..KENNETH TAN YU PENG`had brought into my house, the result three HUGE really round pus balls on my last two toes....guess what i am getting him for his birthday...heh heh heh

well suffice to say they burst and pus was coming out of them like a little flood... needless to say, they eventually got infected and i got cellulitis.

For those who dun take medicine and for those who do take medicine and who arent too good at it (haha) cellutis is a bacterial infection that goes up your lymph nodes and basically makes you swell just like balloon, hence my right foot could not fit into my shoe and was still leaking pus...

well, it got so bad that i went to a london hospital when i fang bian planned to visit vivian in london...cuz it got so bad i couldnt walk properly lah..

why do i not go to a leicester hospital? let me put it bluntly, to cut costs, the university doctors make you queue forever till you die... unless you are dead or dying, like seriously dying, with a priest or holy person reading you your last rites, you are NOT going to see a doctor in my NHS centre...also the nurse at the reception is a bitch and are most unhelpful...if i end up dead after this entry, you know why...i remember i once called and she insisted that it was my fault i couldnt call and make an appointment...i forced myself to go there in person without an appointment and i rang their number in front of her and guess what, her phone didnt ring..and the number i punched in was right, guess WHO din put the phone properly or was using the phone for her own purposes... and she din even apologise, she still said it was my phones problem, you know what, i hope she impales herself on a syringe and hanges herself with a bandage i will be holding a party at my place, all of you are invited....grrr...

ok anyway back to fleas, london hospital doctor took a look at my foot and was like oh wow, yeah it was that gross, cuz my sock was covered in pus and stuck to my foot (yes totally gross I KNOW) and she prescibed me three differnt antibiotics which made me so happy cuz i knew i was saved...

antibiotics cleared up the infection and i had to buy a new pair of slippers, brits call them flip flops to make sure my foot was dry..slippers cost me 15 pounds sia.. wah lao it was on sale somemore...i sure hope my damn slippers are like fireproof or something...

but even when the infection was gone, i still itched. i scratched till scratching became an intergral part of my life, just like eating and breathing, without scratching my bites, i would have simply died of itchiness. Never before in my life have i contemplated slicing off my own limb until this time...

oh also i had to buy scabies mite medicine which i rubbed all over my body, and i mean EVERYWHERE k to make sure the stupid mites and their eggs which are laid in your skin, were killed... cannot bathe for a whole day sia... and you smell like a hospital...gross

hmm once the scabies was gone though, things got better...

we fumigated the house using professional exterminators and it worked which is fortunate, because to get back at the fleas, i was considering burning down my house and dancing around the flames singing hymns of joy...

but that said the fleas were DEAD DEAD DEAD, MUHAHAHAHHAHAh, DEAD, like six feet under dead, gassed to death dead with NO HOPE OF RESURRECTIOn hahhaha....death to the fleas!!!KIll them ALL BUrn THem ALLL!!!Make Sure their Dead Bodies Are FOUnd and Cremated for if they EVer were to Come Back you would Have to Piece their God damn Atoms toGether!!!!! ooops oh are you still reading my blog, haha, ignore that part *whistle innocently*

anyway like i said, they're dead...

wELL i think tts enough for now, its been a pretty long entry and i doubt anyone will read it through because we live in a soundbite, instanteous gratification world and so patience is in short supply haha..

Hey i finally figured out how to upload pictures into my blog, next stop i wil find out how to put in counters and links which i dunno how to do :P

Anyway, these are pictures from the rides i took at Alton Towers theme park in the UK Birmingham, for those of you who dont know, i love death defying rides, i find them exhilarating and not scary (except a tower drop in open air). I especially love roller coasters haha...

That was one weekend ago and it was a blast, a pity i didnt get to ride one called spinball, which is a rotating rollercoaster :(

Oh btw i wrote this entry to give people some perspective on what exactly those pictures are on about haha..

Hey hey, haha, sorry for not writing for so long guys, been really busy and its really nice to see people writing comments!!!

anywayy, the invasion of the fleas must wait for a little while cuz i am rushing two tutorials with loads of reading and since i spent the weekend in a theme park (Alton towers) riding huge rollercoasters, i didnt do any work at all aiyaa...so now must catch up...

Cold Feet

Cheh..wish i had a picture of frozen blue feet...haha would have made my title so much nicer...ah wellz

hmm..i haven blogged in a while....but then like since a lot of my close friends are far away and i cant keep in touch with them too regularly, guess this is one way of letting them i am not dead haha...and also acts as an outlet for my ascerberisic (oh man i swear there is a word thats sounds like this but i bet the spellings wrong) self. i.e. acidic caustic self. Better than finding a butter knife and slowly cutting my enemies to pieces in some dark hidden corner i guess...

Well now let me see, what shall i write...i have been in england for what almost three weeks and they have been relatively not nice with some good spots...

first Off there was the invasion the fleas...the fleas invaded my house after hopping off a very dirty, obviously unhygenic stray cat which happened to stroll into my house on a nice summers day before i came back. They hopped off the damn cat and onto my house carpet, and lo and behold they decided to have kids in furtherance of their natural horny inclinations. Suffice to say, the fleas were remarkly successful in their attempt at reproduction and soon they had loads of mini fleas jumping around the house. And the fleas, the bloody bloodsuckers that they are, BIT ME ON MY LEGS. They bit me like rabid dogs whenever i went downstairs to cook. Worst of all the little buggers are so damn hard to kill. I caught one sucking on my leg and i caught it in my fingernail and i crushed it like the proverbial bug, but it still did not die...to my amazement, it leaped out of my fingernail with impunity and back to to safety of the carpet. it wasnt even hurt, whilst i the giant oh mighty one was left to scratch my leg raw.

anyway i am sleepy now, stay tuned for invasion of the fleas part 2
